"Honestly so grateful to Craig at CM Plastering! I was let down last minute and Craig came in with his pants outside his trousers and got the bathroom plastered in time for it to be fitted after someone else said they dont have time and another guy said "it's too tricky" Craig came and could see my desperation and how urgent the job was, and plastered it on a Sunday for me, and was the same price I'd agreed with the plasterer that let me down! I asked him to look at the other plastering work I had to do and while I was prepared to pay to plaster the massive ceiling and walls after turning 3 rooms into 1, Craig said he could save me a small fortune and committed himself to several visits to blend it all together and having finished yesterday, I can't even see where the previous walls were! He's also plastered a ceiling and 3 others walls for me. I had got to thinking that the traditional conscientious tradesman had all died off but Craig is still carrying that torch strong and bright! I will definitely be using him again and would definitely recommend them! Thanks again mate"

"Cannot recommend this firm enough. After a few quotes, Craig was, thankfully, recommended by another tradesman. He is a personable young man and it quickly became obvious that he had considerable experience of many aspects of the building trade and of his own expertise in plastering /rendering etc. He was meticulous in examining the job in hand, which was re-rendering the pine end of our very old stone built house. He paid particular attention to any possible other defects and how the preparation work may affect the house. He made a point of explaining the whole process, from the hacking off, preparation of the exposed pine end, the nature of why the problem had arisen, how he would rectify that so that it would not occur again. He explained how he intended the finished job to look. In particular , he explained the quality of the materiel he would be using, how it would provide a totally waterproof finish and guaranteed his work. His quote was very competitive with a comprehensive breakdown.He gave us a clear, concise estimate of the time he expected the job to take, the nature of the team he would bring to the job etc. Craig and his team were on site promptly everyday. He made a point of talking us through what had been done everyday and outlining the work plan and tasks planned for the following day.. I cannot praise his attention to Health and Safety on site enough. Not only to his work team but also explaining any potential slip, trip or any hazards to us or our pet dog. Most impressively, the exceptionally clean and hazard free condition he and he his team left the work site and material preparation area was meticulous. He was also aware of the impact of external building work on neighbours and established an excellent rapport with them as well When all said and done, in the case of a repaired pine end, you only see the external render and not the work that goes into it. As the work progressed, Craig took us through each stage, outlining the materials used, waterproofing employed etc. He also tidied up areas such as a damp proof ground fillet, installed by a previous contractor which had deteriorated and he thought would detract for the appearance of his efforts. No building work can be described as a pleasant experience, but in Craigs case he made the whole thing an affordable, professional, accomplished, confidence building , very friendly experience. He is a real character, enjoys a laugh and banter, but never takes his eye of the task in hand. In short, very professional, thoroughly competent and great value for money. Already sounded him out on another job, to be done when the weather improves. Thoroughly recommend and potential customers are welcome to view the job he did for us."
