Lyte Ladders and Towers

"I ordered a set of Lyte triple extension ladders from ladders.co.uk. The arrangement included direct delivery from Lyte to my home. When I arrived home on the day of delivery I found a set of heavily damaged ladders had been delivered. The bottom rung on one of the extensions had been dented. Most rungs on another extension had been gouged. The locking levers had each been bent and had punched into adjacent rungs. The damage was so great that it was physically impossible to open the ladders. This was probably a good thing as I doubt a safety inspector would have passed the ladders for use. I was able to return the ladders for a full refund which I accepted instead of a replacement because Lyte had sent a message as follows. "Can you please inform the customer that light surface scratches like in the images do not classify as a damage and if the replacement arrives lightly scratched we will not collect and replace." My definition of light scratches based on the sample photos is very different to Lyte’s !!! This was my worst internet purchase experience to date."

"If I could give zero I would purchased a set of ladders from my local builders merchant after 10 months of average use every rung makes a ear burning creak can only compare to a chalk board apparently this is standard for lyte ladders as they told us , previous set owned for 10 years not a creak out of them , don’t waste your money on LYTE ladders poorly made products"

"What a pleasure to deal with, we have used Lyte 12 step fibre glass ladders in the workshop for some time now and we got to a point of needing more. They are great quality. I contacted the company and got sent out 2 pairs swiftly. Unfortunately 1 set was damaged in transit, I contacted Lyte to let them know and within 2 days the damage ladders were collected and replaced with a new set. No questions asked. You can tell a good company by the aftercare - Lyte you deserve the 5 stars! Highly recommend."

"On a site visit recently, I was taken around the factory by Chris Loynes. Here I saw for myself the way raw materials were cut, shaped, as in the green aluminium rungs with the unique "double bubble" construction, and assembly. The attention to detail and accuracy was amazing, and that was for ladders, step ladders, and scaffold tower sections. Although the process of assembling ladders has not changed very much over the years, modern cutting, hole punching and robots mig welding scaffold sections has improved overall ladder strength and longevity. What surprised me was the test rig settup, where ladders, steps and finished products are tested vigorously for 50 hours. I would wholeheartedly recommend Lyte products as they continue to set the highest industry standards for all their products."

"I recently made a purchase from Lyte Ladders , and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the product and more their service. Their range is impressive and is UK-manufactured. I opted for their Professional Combination Ladder, which offers versatility and safety features, making it perfect for me. The build quality is outstanding. Additionally, their customer service was prompt and helpful, ensuring a smooth purchasing experience. I highly recommend Lyte Ladders and Towers Limited for anyone seeking reliable and high-quality access solutions."
